It can work with 2-stroke engines if you connect Post Interface(529036019) between MPI device and vehicle. However, Post Interface has been out of production for a while. That's the reason that it isn't available in our store.
It can only rewrite fuel mappings on E-tec engines (SkiDoo/Lynx).
The Chaparral dash display is causing communication errors with the BRP software.
- Step 1: Confirm the technician is receiving a "Communication Error" this is usually associated with the KW-2000 com number switching randomly between 1, 2, 3, 2, 3 etc...
- Step 2: Exit the BRP program and turn OFF ignition key.
- Step 3: Access behind dash and unplug the center connector on the Dash Display.
- Step 4: Turn on ignition (Dash Display should not come on)
- Step 5: Open BRP Powerpack software and all functions should be restored.
